Having someone who can render first aid quickly and effectively can mean the difference between life and death. These courses give employees the ability to take helpful and safe action while waiting for the emergency medical personnel to arrive. RW Smith, CSP, and Larry Poague, LPN, ARM, CPHRM of HMA will be presenting the First Aid and CPR course at the Holmes Murphy Kansas City office. Employees and supervisors are encouraged to attend. The National Safety Council (NSC) block of instruction will not only train employees to be effective initial responders but meets OSHA First Aid Standard 29 CFR 1910.151. Attendees will leave the course, once tested, with the NSC first aid book and their First Aid/CPR card. There is no cost for Holmes Murphy clients. Attendees are only required to attend one session.
